Embedded France: Argos receives IoT Awards of the year

Skipper NDT has won the IoT for Industry and Services Trophy, presented by Thales, at the 16th Assises de l'Embarqué (Embedded France).

The award recognizes Project ARGOS, a drone-mounted payload that automates monitoring of critical buried infrastructure in complex environments such as geohazard zones and river crossings.

Using magnetometry combined with drone hardware and AI, ARGOS generates high-precision digital twins of buried structures without direct field access, helping prevent environmentally significant incidents and improve operator safety.

This award highlights the engineering work behind Argos, our integrated drone payload capable of capturing high-frequency magnetic data with a temporal precision of one-tenth of a millisecond. This performance is made possible by embedded code optimized for high performance under resource-constrained conditions.

The trophy was presented to Luigi Kassir, CEO of Skipper NDT, by Cédric Demeure, VP R&T at Thales.
