Atlas, Land-Based Magnetic Data Acquisition Platform
Skipper NDT proprietary and patented land-based hardware designed for high-precision magnetic data acquisition. Engineered for ground deployment, ATLAS delivers reliable and repeatable measurements in environments where airborne operations are constrained or where ground-level resolution is required.
The system integrates the Argos magnetic payload into a robust land-based platform, allowing operators to collect high-quality data while maintaining full control over survey conditions. Atlas is particularly suited for inspections along linear infrastructures such as pipelines, corridors, or rights-of-way, as well as in areas with dense vegetation or uneven terrain.
The Atlas system includes:
a high-precision GNSS and IMU for accurate positioning,
a long-endurance battery enabling up to 20 hours of continuous operation,
a rugged enclosure designed for demanding field conditions.
