Admiral

A software application for field operators

Admiral is our software application (desktop and mobile) which allows operators (internal and external) to configure our payload Argos according to their needs, monitor the various sensors in real time and confirm the integrity of their data through a series of simple tests onsite.

Need for Admiral

Ensure acquisitions integrity

A field survey can be quite costly, even more so if the acquired data is corrupted since the entire survey has to be re-done.
Admiral was born from the need to avoid such incidents. It accompanies surveyors in their tasks and allows them a high degree of confidence in the used hardware and collected data.

How does Skipper Admiral work ?

Admiral interfaces with Skipper NDT’s proprietary payload Argos to allow a multitude of safe operations on it. It uses IoT technologies to ensure a secure connection to the payload, offering access to its data and to its sensors configurations.

Use case 1

Sensors configuration

The Argos payload can be fixed to several types of carrier vectors. It can also be deployed in the different configurations and sometimes with different sensors.

Admiral will allow the users of the Argos payload to configure it according to each situation.

Use case 2

In-field tests

Once the data is acquired, the operators can download the data from the payload and perform a series of simple processings to once again attest to the quality of the acquired data before finally leaving the surveyed field. The tests were designed to be intuitive and simple enough for any operator to perform without any specific scientific prerequisites.

Use case 3

Live streaming

Before starting the data acquisition, operators can use the live streaming functionality to make sure the sensors are functioning correctly and are providing us with uncorrupted data.
The operators can then be secure in the quality of the data about to be acquired.
